Terms of Service

Last updated: August 4, 2026

Contentcron appreciates your use of our platform. These terms exist to maintain operations and protect all parties involved. By using our services, you agree to these terms.

Terminology

References to “Company,” “we,” “our,” or “us” denote Contentcron. “Services” encompasses contentcron.com, app.contentcron.com, the Contentcron GitHub App, and all products maintained by Contentcron. “Content” means the articles, topics, brand profiles, and revisions the Services produce for you.

We may update these terms periodically, typically to clarify provisions or reflect changes to our Services. Updates will be reflected with a refreshed date at the top of this document, and account holders will receive appropriate notification of material changes. By continuing to use the Services after changes take effect, you agree to the updated terms.

Account terms

  1. You maintain responsibility for account security and for all activity on your account, including actions taken by teammates you invite.
  2. You must have the right to grant Contentcron access to any repository or website you connect. Only connect properties your team actually controls.
  3. The Services may not be used for any unlawful purpose, to violate any regulations, or to generate content that is deceptive, infringing, or intended to spam search engines or readers at scale beyond your own properties.
  4. Only human users may register accounts. Automated account creation is prohibited.

Your repository and your content

  1. Your repository stays yours. Contentcron writes to it only through the GitHub App installation you authorize, scoped to repository contents and pull requests. You can revoke the installation at any time from GitHub, which immediately ends our access.
  2. Articles the Services write for you are yours. We claim no ownership or license over them beyond what is needed to operate the Services, such as storing drafts and revision history so the pipeline works.
  3. You are the publisher. Content is generated by large language models (currently Anthropic’s Claude) and can be wrong; the review step exists so a human can catch that. We do not warrant that generated content is accurate, original in every phrase, or fit for a particular purpose. What you merge, approve, or configure to publish directly is your editorial decision and your responsibility, including its accuracy and legality.

Payment, refunds, and plan changes

  1. Your first article is free, with no credit card required. Nothing converts to a paid plan automatically.
  2. Paid plans are billed by subscription through our payment processor (Stripe), monthly or annually, per the prices on the pricing page. Upgrades to a paid plan charge immediately; subsequent plan changes take effect at the next billing cycle.
  3. Article quotas reset at the start of each billing cycle and unused articles do not roll over.
  4. All fees exclude applicable taxes and duties. Where required by law, we collect taxes on behalf of the relevant authorities.
  5. Refund requests are handled on a case-by-case basis. Contact ben@contentcron.com if you believe you are owed a refund.

Cancellation and termination

  1. You are responsible for proper cancellation through the billing portal in the app. Canceling before the end of your billing period allows continued access through the remainder of that period without additional charges.
  2. Uninstalling the Contentcron GitHub App ends our repository access immediately, independent of your subscription.
  3. Upon account deletion, your data is permanently deleted from active systems within 30 days and from backups within 60 days. Recovery is not possible afterward. Content already merged into your repository is, by design, yours and unaffected.
  4. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts and refuse service access for any reason at any time, including but not limited to violation of these terms.

Modifications to services and prices

We reserve the right to modify or discontinue Services, temporarily or permanently, with or without notice. Pricing changes may occur with 30 days’ notice via email or announcement on our website.

Uptime, security, and privacy

  1. Services are provided “as is” and “as available.” While we take reliability seriously, no service-level agreement is included. Failed pipeline runs are surfaced in the app with a retry and never count against your article quota.
  2. All data in transit is encrypted. Data at rest is encrypted by our hosting providers.
  3. Your data is processed according to our Privacy Policy. Third-party vendors that may process personal data are listed on our Subprocessors page.

Intellectual property

The Contentcron application, marketing site, and infrastructure are proprietary. Your data remains yours: we claim no ownership over your repositories, your websites, or the articles the Services produce for you.

Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Contentcron shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenue, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses resulting from your use of or inability to use the Services, including consequences of publishing generated content. Our total liability is capped at the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Berlin, Germany.
